This is not really our standard blog, but I can't help but notice that there have been less flags and bumper stickers over the last the 7 years and that each year the parade gets a little smaller. It does not help that they have not filled that fucking hole downtown with some sort of memorial, but I encourage everyone to do something on this day every year to remember what happened.
